Just Like Any Other Day

Just Like Any Other Day // An Ordinary Day with Friends // The Pie Hole located at the Arts District On Tuesday, I'd planned to spend the day with my best friend, of nearly 8 years, Narong. He had always wanted to try the food at the Pie Hole and we headed down over! I've been eating too much sweets lately so I'd thought I'll cut back a little by just getting the pieholes and some french fries from Wurstküche (given to me by one of the Pie Hole fam). Narong got the Mexican Chocolate pie and the Ratatouille pie (for any vegan lovers out there). My sister Jasmine had just got on her break when we arrived so we chatted for awhile until she headed back to work.  When we finished our food, we stood for awhile just enjoying each other's company and sneaking some photos of us in a model's position (lol). The entire setting was quite relaxing and refreshing! Mural by Gino Perez After taking a breather, we walked around the Arts distr

From the City to the Beach // Taking photos all over the place // On Sunday, I headed out to Los Angeles with my sister where we later met up with our friend Will. But before that, we strolled around the Arts District doing some quick errands and grabbing a bite to eat. As of now, my sister Jasmine would be an official member to the Pie Hole family! It's quite exciting news since we love the place and we know the whole gang working there!  After our errands, we walked down to Little Tokyo to pass up time while we waited for Will to show up. We went to a few shops and noticed some event happening in the area. They had live performances and art installations set up. It was kinda interesting to see if weren't for the loud banging of the music. When we met up with Will, we drove down to Rodeo Drive to check out the sights and take photos. I was quite surprised to find out that Will had never heard of the place. It's basically the number one tourist h

The Poppy Fields // Walker Canyon trial, Lake Elsinore // This past Saturday, the family and I headed down to Lake Elsinore to see the poppies that has been the talk of the town these past few weeks! I've been wanting to see the spectacular sight for quite a while so I was happy to have finally see them. I have such a love for flowers and hiking trails so this was like a big win for me! Now, I can finally check that off on my bucket list! We went on the road around noon and took about an hour and a half to get to our destination. When we arrived, we took a shuttle to the Walker Canyon trial. We hiked all the way uphill in the blazing sun which I didn't mind at all. Even so, it didn't stopped my mom from asking if I was feeling hot or not (lol)!  We came across a few interesting and kind people along the trail. There were even those typical blogger type people going off trail to take the perfect Instagram photos.  Painted Lady Butter
