A Weekend of Fun

A Weekend of Fun // A Mini Trip to Joshua Tree // I had some fun during tis past weekend with my family! We headed out towards Joshua Tree specifically to help support my sister Francis and her fiancĂ©, Thomas, while they were selling their merch at a local flea market. Also, we thought it'd be fun for us since we never go there during our annual Palm Spring trip in the summer. So, we thought we'll head out the day before the event to get settle in and check the sites. Where we stayed at, it was close by the windmills so we pulled over and took some pics before heading to a local thrift shop! I didn't find anything there but things turned around when I found an old film camera somewhere else at the end of our trip! Score! Side note: On the way to Joshua Tree, we saw tons of poppies over on hills and alongside pathways! It sure was a sight to see!  On the day of the event, we stopped by the Cactus Mart to get some plants!

Taking Photos Around The Neighborhood

Taking Photos Around The Neighborhood  // Testing Shooting with my sister // This past Monday, my sister Jasmine received her first camera, Fujifilm X-T100, in the mail and wanted to do some test shooting. Side note: It so happens to be the same camera I want for myself, but I will get one of these days! So yesterday, we walked around the neighborhood to take pics since she had the day off. It was such a perfect sunny day that I decided to take some photos for myself. The results were quite amazing!  In my neighborhood, you can find a church just about at every corner even hidden within! At one of them, the light gave off the this nice shadow effect again the building (as seen above). I found a lone crow resting on a field near another church and I was able to get a really cool lens flare effect in the shot! My little neighborhood has some neat hidden places such as alleyways and old train stations with some interesting plants as well! I managed to take

A Mini Shoot in LA // Arts District, Los Angeles, CA // / Featuring Will / A Quick Update: Hey there friends! It's been awhile since I last posted on here so I wanted to give you guys a quick update on my life! First off, I've been busy with school stuff (man, you gotta love college!!) which is why I haven't been able to take pictures nowadays. And because of this, I have been feeling a bit down. It brings me utter joy when I take photos, so you can understand what it means to be in a situation like this. We all have that one thing in our lives that gives us the utmost happiness and what it feels like when it goes away. So, I was quite thrilled about picking it up again with yesterday's photo session. I met up with a friend aka Will and we headed off to Los Angeles! We took some photos around the Arts District, known for its incredible art created by so many talented artists. It's a sight to see but it also makes the perfect backdrop for photos! After that
